New vented 5th wheel tailgate

I just installed a new Stomberg Carlson vented tailgate on the truck today. I am very happy with it. The main reason I got it was for better visibility when backing up (crunched one bumper already), but it will be nice for hooking up the camper too. It's light weight, and clean and simple. Cost was $150 + about $20 shipping direct from Stromberg Carlson. Camping World wants about $80 shipping for the same tailgate drop shipped from the manufacturer.



The part number is VGD-02-100 for the 3rd gen RAMS, and VGD-94-101 for the 2nd gens.
