Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) New VP44 - drop in mileage

Wow ; mileage dropped by 2mph/gal after the new VP. Any ideas or advice?

mine did the same thing. I had mine installed over a year ago. Still don't get the mileage I used to get. -Jason

I gained 4 mpg on my first VP replacement. I lost 2 of them on the second replacement. I now have nearly 40k on last pump. It has recovered most of the lost mileage, but still not as good as the second pump.
