Need advice from military retiree's

Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting .500 S&W Hornady ammo recall

Was out with FIL today feeding and he has been thinking about our WHAT'S THIS question. He asked to put this on and see if you could tell how its used and for what?

Big; really enjoy your posts! My guess would be a type of TWITCH for occupying the mind of an animal when you're trying not to get bit or kicked by the "patient" you're trying to shear or shoe.

Thanks again for all of the mule and mountain scenery. GV

Not a problem for the pics I love my gang and enjoy them as much as any other animal that I HAVE EVER HAD. BUT NO I WOULD NEVER !!!!! use a twitch on one of my crew. My Niece has one time and I cried like a baby until she stopped. This is no way to treat an animal. The other pic is the way she is most of the time. There are other kinds of them and other medieval devices that at least I wont be around when the use them. But there will HAVE TO BE NO OTHER WAY To do what needs to be done. NO YOUR WRONG GUESS AGAIN :D

I don't blame you a bit. (no pun intended). Looking at the shape reminds me of a clincher used to push over the end of a shoe nail that protrudes from the hoof wall. But the ones I have used were narrower, with ridges to grip the nails. Enjoy the "what's this for" even if I'm wrong which seems to happen more often as I age. GV

Big, if I remember right, your device kinda looks like what we used on the farm for pulling barbed wire tight at the post so that we could then nail in the u shaped staple to hold the wire in place. Am I close?

Mr mrtrombley

Not even close. When I asked what it was my FIL told me and the wife demonstrated it when she made dinner. Thats a good hint. AND BY THE WAY IT MADE ME SICK TO SEE IT DEMOSTRATED

Good One mrtrombley!!!!!

Whack the lobster on the head with the mystery tool before you chuck him in the pot of boiling water, that would appease Mary Tyler Moore... ... ... ..... :D:D

Mike. :)

Its a tool used when docking sheep. (or other animals big or small) To separate the animal from the rocky mountain oyster. Or what ever they maybe called in your area.

Nope not it!!! the Wife is ecstatic that you haven't got this one yet. Her first post on this was a disaster for a week (for me) she was really PO but smiling and laughing now.

Mr MLee thats what they call them here. I have ate them just to try them they are good tasting but I JUST CANT GET OVER WHAT THEY ARE.

It's going to blow you away about what it is not much of a tool but what an end result

Stranger

We use the reach in and pull it out operation for that OR A come-A-long and a barn pole.

NIsaacs
