That's a pusherupper for getting City Slickers boosted up into the saddle. They put one boot on the stepped section, trail master pushes down on working input lever side and alley oop! Up they goes. FWIW, the nicer models are pinstriped on the handle.



Alternative to a cattle prod or a sky hook.

Not what I have seen it used for but Gary that is a great idea for the BIG A** getter upper only make it out of a 4x4 so their foot dont slip and fall on my A**. But its getting close Gary. HINT look at the notches in the lever and the lock rod.

Another view might help, but I'm seeing a mirror image on the bottom also. I see the notches and lock rod, but does it have an axle pivot point or does it rest on a fixed hinge point?

Looking to get into old time lunch truck with one of these. The people that have come to visit us from CA went and told their friends and they told their friends about us and shown pics of their time with our gang and have called to do it all again next year. That's why the post on Take This Poll. Forest Sirv. and NPS want some kind of a Business Plan to see if it would be a worth while venture. The wagons are just some pics from the people that make them they look pretty old but are pretty much new. And that tool is a wagon jack

The wagon thing, nostalgia, old timey, how it used to be, OK if I could do it, I'd be Guinie PIG #1 for that trip. Wagons Ho, move 'em out.



This is my covered wagon, sorta. This is in the backyard with my cast iron collection displayed. Biggest skillet is the discontinued Lodge 20" two hander. A gem. Since this pic I built a new 2X larger fire pit, works for me.

That coffee pot is a machine, 11 qt. boiler, no innards. Get in line, we're serving b-fast.

Looks like a fine set up Gary like the fire pit here's mine DONT ASK WHERE IT CAME FROM. if you have been camping you'll know :-laf significant other got weird when I put it in the ground out back. Its ok I live here to, Dam Gary how many eggs can you put in that trash can lid size pan?

Yup, looks like I've seen it's brother somewhere. I have two different sized truck rims, one is about 24" or so with no hub flange, it works real well on the road somewhere.



The 20" Lodge, I don't know how many eggs, never had that many people lately to fill it up, but its a bunch. I usually fill it with pancakes. The biggest current Lodge is 17" still a doozey, but it ain't a 20". I also made a cardboard box oven big enough to fit the 20" and made pizza in it with only charcoal as heat source, no need to ask if it was good, it DISAPPEARED after slicing.



This is a later pic of the camp and fire pit, needs a bigger grate and my new beverage support device made from backyard hickory and some maple from Ohio.

Your fire pit are those the blocks that are used as planters? they are not square and have a lip on the back of the block to kind of lock them together? I was thinking about those for our fire pit in the yard I didnt know if they would take the heat and crack. LOOKS GOOD BUD This not in the backyard but we kind of get carried away with the sing around the campfire thing. Gary if your in the market for a bigger grate and you have a rock quary around you the sifting screens that they use to grade the size of the rocks work like a charm. They come in like 4x8 sheets and will never burn up or bend because of the heat. They change them out because the wear out with the rock

Me singing, how 'bout a rousing chourus of "American Soldier" or "Red Solo Cup", that's about it, or maybe Tom T. Hall's "I Like Beer". Really nice shot.



The bricks are staggered keystone pavers w/o the overhang lip, base is 16" X 16" flat pavers 3 stones by 4 stones surrounded by a 2X4 PT frame no mortar. Had some pretty good fires, not one crack. If it did crack, no mortar, R&R w/new.



No rock quarries that I know of, my grate is from a floor deck from a mezzenane in a parts bin system.
