Going to have to run new wires to the rear abs sensor, where can I tap in up front, what color wires are they and what size?? any help would be appreciated...

From 99 FSM: Wires from rear wheel sensor, twisted pair, 20 ga. , one is red with violet stripe, other is white with violet stripe, it show a connector between the sensor and the antilock brake controller but that on may be at the sensor. I think the controller is mounted near the master cylinder. hope this helps. bg

I'm assuming

You're doing this cause of a break,It usually breaks near the differential where it flexs constantly. Just undo the wrap tugging firmly on the pair of ABS wires,to reveal the break. You are aware the ABS sensors are also often a problem also.

I've replaced the sensor and the light still comes on everyime i drive it, sometimes after several miles, sometimes immediately. Had a shop scan the codes (5 popped up) and was told they were all from the rear sensor and that it had to be a problem in the wires so I thought about just running new ones all the back. I'll try to check the back end of the harness again and see what happens.
