I know this is very short notice but My father and I are looking at a machine near Albany tommorrow and dont know the roads up there, we are coming from the Philadelphia area. It says to use the Taconic St Parkway. Seem like 87 might be a better bet. The town is east of Albany near the Mass line. We are leaving at 4 . . so I hope to get some replys

What town are you going to I might be able to help. I use to run from here to Philly and went down 87, to the garbage state parkway (sorry, couldn't resist) to the NJ turnpike and over to Philly or something like that. Anyways tell me where you're going and I'll try to help. I-87 gets you right to Albany, exit 23 or 24 both work.

thanks for the help... we took the NJ TP to the garbage state PW to 87 to 90 then 295 to 5 and finally 20 to 22. what a ride... we were home by 1:30. . now we need to figure how to get 75,000-90,000 lbs back to Jersey

Didn't you put twins on your truck???? That should do it, just don't post about it, the over weight police will be on your case :-laf Yikes, what did you buy?

Its a VBM V=Vertical B=Boring M=Mill. Its used to turn round objects Like a engine or turret lathe but on a much bigger scale. It weights in the neighborhood of 75,000 to 90,000lbs.
