Newbe Here, 600 Questions

Hey all this is my first time posting here, I have been lurking for a few years. I had a 02 2500 QC 4x4 LB H. O and I traded it in on a 04 2500 4x4 QC LB HEMI... What a mistake that was, I just ordered an 04 3500 4x4 QC DRW 6spd.



I have a few questions about it. .

What is all of this talk about a second injection cycle of more fuel to keep the cat hot??? Is anyone working on a box to disable this?? Is it really necessary? is there a temp sensor before and after the cat?

That will be the first thing that gets ripped off (CAT)



I also want to add a single stack on the passenger side, where on line can these parts be ordered? I hope I am posting these questions in the right forum, If not I will get it right soon enough

Actually if you have a 600 you have 3 inj. cycles. All engines before the 600 had two mainly for noise but the 600 has a third for emmisions (works like an afterburner to clean up all the nasty stuff in the cylinder). As for deleting this cylcle no one really knows but when I talked to EDGE they stated that they are working on new injection technology for all HPCR motors and when it comes out it will blow everyone away! But as you will find there are alot of people that are waiting on the JUICE for a long time. As for the CAT no sensors, mine was stolen when I changed my muffler and I really dont care to find it either!

I think you'll find adding a stack will be a full on custom job - I haven't seen any kits. You mite try a place that caters to truckers. They should have all the assorted goodies you need to complete the job. Don't forget to post a pic for us!
