Newbie Question..When can I

start to modify? I have 700 miles on my truck. Please don't flame me for asking this question. I want to open up some breathing to start. It is my understanding that this engine will not be fully broken in for at least 10K if not more. Have any of you modified your trucks prior to the engine breakin? What mods will not void the warranty?



I'm extremely pleased with my new truck however I see quite a bit of potential out of this engine.

Sure, I put gauges, flatbed, bumper, rocker panel covers, XM radio, an ebrake, and even seat covers on before it was broke in. Go for it.

A couple things,... populate your profile so we know what you have. Then generally members do intake upgrades and exhaust mods based on what you have. These things don't usually mess with your warranty. Almost everything else except for gauges in the way of performance mods will make you your own warranty station, fyi. Good luck.
