Yeah, I think you may need to either check the junkyard or dealership... thats your best bet.



Junkyard will be cheaper, but for such a small part, I don't think the dealer will be too bad either (I've been wrong). On such a beautiful truck, I'd put the new part, as opposed the the junkyard part.

Wait, so is there a bare edge of glass there then? I'm having trouble trying to figure out what your missing. I've seen a lot of first gens with the latch snapped off, but the base of it is still on like I said before. There the vertical black plastic (possibly metal?) edging on the window that goes top to bottom and I believe also holds the seal, which as I recall is rubber. The latch is one molded piece of plastic that screws into the center (vertically) of that edging. From your pic looking head on, it looks like you have the edging... I think I'm just confused and need to go back to bed and try again tomorrow...

no i dont have the edging, i currently have electrical tape to fool u to think i have the edging and that the window is closed. .

YUP! that's all that counts. i am going to the local Pull Apart saturday for some stuff for my burban and to see what i can find for the new truck... so i'll letchya'll know what i find. My Pull Apart has a really good selection usually.

well the speedo works just fine, its on the odometer and trip meter. i'll do some more searching on that. he has a dated picture with the odometer w about 200 less miles on it (the one he used when he listed it) so i'm assuming it went out shortly after that. the date is end of dec 07.

You probably have a bad odo gear, but you can get them here... .

I bought three sets of latches for mine at the local Dodge dealer, seems like they were less than ten bucks for the complete set, screws and all. Nice looking Dodge! Welcome to the madhouse. Glen

Thanks, i didn't have any luck on latches at the junkyard but i'll call my dodge dealer and see what they can come up with.
