I am trying to find out how to run the 235 85 16's on my 97. (They rub under heavy gooseneck load with my stock wheels). I have spoken to Rickson, and will probably go that route, but I was just wondering if the 2001 wheel with the new offset would work. (Much cheaper).

If so, what would that part # be??? My local dealer says it is 52113156AA, but I don't trust my local dealer. Chances are, it would be the exact same wheel I have now.

Suggestions welcome!!!!

I sure hope you have better response than i did. I asked this same question for my 97 about 2 weeks ago and not 1 response. Good luck,i will be watching closely.

Tires

MBurke,

I run 235/85/16 on my 97 (see Sig) and pull lots of weight. the only way that i have found to keep the tires from rubbing is to run about 70 to 80 pounds of press in each duel. so far no problems. i have no experience in rickson tires and wheels but from what i have heard they are the best for these heavy trucks.
