What do you think of Bio-Diesel

1st Time Diesel

I got a CTD 5 weeks ago. I had no idea that a truck could have such a high power to weight ratio stock. Nothing like having to hold on to the steering wheel as you rocket off the line.

My truck right now is all stock. the BOMBing is going to start. First i am going to get some gauges for it before i do anything for the intake and exhaust. About the intake and exhaust, what is the best thing to do short of letting the kitten run off. I have done a lot of reading and researching and a lot of sites say " may" increase effientcy but everything will lower EGT's. I'm trying to find something that will do both.

I found this site last night and was amazed at the amount of info there is here. This is the most indepth site i have found yet. Keep it up

Welcome to TDR. The biggest impact of intake and exhaust upgrades is definitely EGT reduction. Beyond that, they lower restriction in the exhaust system allowing the engine to "breathe" easier and make more horsepower. This may not be noticeable on a stock truck, but will definitely help when BOMBs are included. There are many good exhaust systems available. If your horsepower aspirations are modest, 4" should be plenty. Otherwise, 5" is also available.
