Does anyone have info on the pulls coming up in Newman. And for that matter How can I get on a mailing list or Emails for upcoming all local or semi local events in the central valley.

Just bringing this up again to see whats up. Thanks Scott and Tcolesanti for the links but no specific info on the newman event was there except the date. If anyone has more info please post.

what are you trying to find out---the VTPA is doing the next Newman pull---the L&L guys are "ex" VTPA guys and set up 5 pulls in Newman as a points series, but I don't think this next one on the 26th is part of that due to the VTPA hosting the event---chris

I'd think so, but they may lump all diesels together or they may have 2 classes--I don't know anymore as I haven't been to a VTPA pull for two years--chris

I'll try and make it, as a spectator only though, but not sure what's in store for that weekend yet. Should only be a 2. 5 hour drive for me, Newman isn't that far up the I-5.

So is anyone going to this pull? I have made plans to get up there but I won't be bringing the truck, just spectating. Does anyone know the details of what time the event is and how to get to that high school it is being held at from the I-5? I checked the website but all it says is where it is and the date, no time or directions.

Thanks Scott, wish I could represent but the rig is down for a while with a busted 241HD. Got the 271 case coming friday but I wouldn't be able to pull anyway cuz I am putting the rig away for a while until I can get a double disk clutch in it and some work done to the NV4500. Remember mine is an expensive law ornament like yours right now :-laf .

I'll try and bring my video camera and see what competition comes out to the Newman event.
