Hello,

I have a stock HX-35 with 155K miles, 3" with a muffler, AFE, DDII's and a DDTT power module, ATS auto trans & converter. I want more power (who doesn't) and less smoke at lower rpm. What next? Does a re-worked HX-35 cover all of this? What would a straight 4" and a turbo tune-up net roughly in HP? I figure I am about 315hp, want to get closer to 400 without any different injectors? Possible?

Thanks

A drag comp might get you close, but I'd say to actually hit 400 hp I think you will need more air. I've got a regular comp and DD2's and if I was guessing I'd say I'm in the neighborhood of 370-380 hp. I think a 40 and a drag comp would put me over 400. but don't want to lose my pacbrake.

I would say no a turbo and exhaust upgrade will not get you 400hp if you are at 315hp right now. I think you will need more fuel. Whether it be by getting bigger injectors or upgrading to a DDUFM box along with the turbo and exhaust. I would also think a turbo in the HX-40, DD jammer, or Dodgezilla sizes would be best. JMHO.
