Next Omaha Bombing...

Yep - it figures, one week after the bombing party I get a call from Rod at WildCatDiesel... gauges are in, one in canada, one in CA, and another somewhere else, either way, I'll be getting those in by the end of next week. Oh, and since he had a special 10% off the Edge products, I had to order the Edge EZ too. I didn't realize the slope was that slippery!!



So - Sunday afternoon worked pretty good for me this last week. Here is a quick look at my calendar:



Sept 27th weekend - not good, heading home to see folks & my brothers family



Oct 4th - Troy State - home game

Oct 5th - Afternoon free



Oct 11th - @ Missouri - who knows what time, not posted yet

Oct 12th - Afternoon free



Oct 18th - Texas A&M - home game

Oct 19th - Afternoon free



We could have it at my house, but not many spots for bombing let alone the slope of the driveway is pretty good too. Tools??? Hardly have any...

It's getting cold and crummy outside soon -- must be time to have a meeting.



In a couple weeks before it get's too nasty?



Oct 19th? Breakfast at Old Country Buffett or a Bombing party? Maybe Bomb after breakfast so we can caravan to whomever's stuck hosting the Bombing party?

I've gone ahead and did the install of the gauges - so the only thing left to bomb is hooking up the EZ and putting mud flaps. First have to extend the exhaust for the mud flaps and I want to drive the truck for a couple of weeks before putting in the EZ to get a baseline.



Still up for a meeting though - Oct 19th would be fine with me.

Newbe onlooker?

If I don't have to work that day, I would like to stop by and see the 'EZ' install, and some of the group's trucks.



I live in Fremont, am a new TDR member, got a '03 2500 QC 4x4 about 2 months ago, and would like to chat with some of the people 'in the know'. .



If you don't mind onlookers, please let me know when and where its going to happen. If I don't work, I will be there!

Any weekend other than the weekend of November 15th works for me. We need to have one more before the cold crummy weather sets in.

Well, the only thing left to bomb this year is putting the Edge EZ on... maybe the front mudflaps whenever they arrive. As for when and where to meet... doesn't matter to me - just might have another meeting pop-up that I'll have to attend, but more than likely will be in the afternoon on a Sunday.



So I'm open on Sundays...

make sure if you guys get together to let us lowly IOWAns in on it too... omaha is about 4hrs from me but i am always willing to travel... not a big deal... . i might actually be coming thru omaha in the next few weeks if i buy a truck i am lookin at in colorado... keep me in mind

Actually on Nov 9th I'll be on my way back from the Kansas game, so that weekend is out. I did get my front mud flaps and hoping to get those put on this weekend. I might dig around and get that Edge EZ put on too.



Don't know what everyone else has for a schedule... although it looks like this next meeting will be cold.

Everyone put a vote in for the time and day. Deer season is 15th thru 23rd -- so we're getting into December if we don't get-together 8th/9th.

The 8th would work for me, not the 9th. But the 8th is a football Saturday who is counting that now, however. I for one have lost interest in that. So I will stay tuned. GeneA

Always seems that no matter what day is selected, I've gotta juggle something in the schedule. I'll keep watching like Gene... and try to make whatever date is selected. Today would have been OK, but the WX wasn't quite miserable enough.

How about this weekend... several have posted here before, a bit quick but would it work out?



If not this sunday, then it better be the following sunday since we are going to be getting into that busy season where people have too many things going on and then we'll have to meet in the freezing cold.

When and where?

I hope that we can decide soon on when and where... what with snow in the forcast and 10 deg for a low tomorrow night, the weather is going to be an important thing to take into account. This weekend sounds crappy for it. Winter storm watch is posted by NWS already.



Now, I have to work the weekend after T-day, but I do have Friday off. . and the following weekend after that I have off too.



Also when someone does decide on a time, could someone post how to get there for us 'newbies' in the area? I want to see some of these trucks that I read about and get some ideas for my truck. .
