1. Combination remote starter for cold mornings and delayed shutdown for after-hard-working stops.
2. Reasonably priced replacement horns that sound like real horns.
3. Augmentation for our wimpy back-up lights.
4. All of the above.

And, hurry up #ad

I would like an engine mounted air compressor with an electric clutch like an A/C compressor so it wouldnt run all the time. Of course I would like for it to cost only 100 bucks. Go ahead,,, call me a cheapskate, I'll agree with ya. But wouldn't it be nice?

Thanks for the info. I'll check the pix in the TDR. I can't stand that cupholder anyway, but have been procrastinating on getting a cup-smoothie from Geno's. BTW, just how much clearance is there between the cup-smoothie and the shifter when it's in 2nd, 4th, and R?

I think I read somewhere that race cars, eg IMSA GTP, have variable boost with a control to dial it in on the fly.

Thanks Brian and RT66DOC, that page Brian linked to spec's engines that put out 350-400 or 900 horsepower #ad
Wow... sounds like a raceproven gadget! Does HVAC know about these?

I actually saw a dial-in device on a friend of mines BMW K100 motorcycle. (He had too much money) He spent $5K on having Luftmeister build a custom turbo set up for his bike. Upto 20lbs of boost (over 200 hp --could spin the back tire at over 100mph!)

Anyway, thanks for the link. I wonder if you could hook up the SPA guages to do that?

I'll second Papa Joe. We need decent sounding horns. The first thing my wife said about my truck was,"For such a big truck, it sure has a sissy horn on it. "
Re: rear disk brakes, the pro set-up would be to have a kit that re-locates all the front hardware(rotors & calipers) to the rear, and has a larger, heavier duty system up front. As I recall, I believe 'Stilleen' makes one for Cheby.

Hmmmmmm,
Electronics are good
Diagnostics are good
Horns are good and fun
Wastegate control smart and good for engine
Rear lighting assistance helpful and safer

All good ideas, but I'll vote for Warp drive as your next project. Why shoot low??

How about a digital heads-up display module that projects pyro, boost, transmission temp guages to the windshield like the F-14's?

If thats too 'out there', let's go for a tire pressure monitoring system with readings for all tires and the ability to check the trailers that we're towing at a glance/flick of a switch? We're running out of A-pillars to mount stuff so we might have to come out of the dash with brackets and mount billet pannels for it- not plastic.

Here's another one... I've fallen through too many roofs over the past years and my shoulders don't rotate like they should. It seems like I need another joint somewhere to access the middle console for tapes, phones, motrin, ect... How about a kit that uses struts like on my canope back window to open the top of the console when you depress the button on the side? It would have to open with slowly so the coffee wouldn't eject if I whoopsed and bumped the latch.

I can do this all day...
