NH firearms legislation ALERT!!!!!

To those of you that are New Hampshire members and who respect the 2nd Amendment to our constitution a very disturbing piece of legislation ... House Bill HB736 ... will turn NH into another Massachusetts or California. This bill would make illegal all magazine feed firearms, non safey device firearms, and any firearms not deemed "safe" by the state's AG. It will also put an end to ALL Concealed Carry licenses ... and we are a Shall Issue state!!! If the state's AG decides that a specific firearm or firearm safe does not meet his/her rules for safety, they can be "recalled" i. e. CONFISCATED!!! And anyone left that would have a "safe" firearm would have to submit a photo to the town police and state to be licensed to own that firearm!
The people who are sponcering this bill are notorious stooges of Hand Gun Control and have their campaines financed heavely by non-New Hampshire sources! Please check out this site: http://www.gencourt. state. nh. us/legislation/2001/hb0736.html

If you aggree with me that this legislation is the first real steps of a new tyrannical gov't in NH, please contact your state reps and senators and ask them to oppose this bill.
I will be taking a vacation day to go to the capital (Concord) on Tuesday March 20 at 10am at the Legislative Office Building to sit in on the discussion and vote and provide my support in opposition to this bill.
Please don't let the "Live Free or Die" state be just some words on our license plates, but a way of life. If you are a firearms owner, don't let these tyrants turn you into a criminal at the stroke of a pen.

For us New Hampshire members and the other members in other states that THIS LEGISLATION IS SOON TO BE ARIVING ... .
I went to Concord NH to the bill's hearing and was glad to see well over 500 people piling into the NH House chambers to listen in and speak their piece on this legislation. We outnumbered them some 20 to 1 (pro 2nd Amend vs. anti 2nd Amend. ). When the loathesome creatures who sponsered this legislation finished speaking, they received a resounding boo an hiss from the crowd. And when pro freedom and liberty speakers finished their say, they all recieved a resounding standing ovation with the speaker of the house banging his gavel and calling for order. Each citizen, if they wanted, could get up and speek to the crowd and Judiciary committee. There were a lot of vets from WWII to the Gulf War there and it was a sight to see. There have never been so many citizens attending a hearing on a bill before. One of the sponsers of the bill withdrew his support upon recieving numerous objections form his constituates.
There is still the vote by the full house to come in a few weeks and our work is far from over. If your from NH and have not already contacted your reps/senators (if you oppose this firearms control bill), you had better do so soon.
To you members in other states ... be on the lookout for this legislation. The NH bill is a direct copy of the Mass and California bills and THEY ARE COMING TO YOUR STATE SOON!! The "Consumer Protection" angle is going to be used in all states by Hand Gun Control Inc. since they don't have a friend in the White House.

Sounds to me like Rep. Martha Fuller Clark has her own agenda and isn't representing her voters as she should. I wonder if she forgot what her job was or no one ever explained it properly!

glad to hear you guys turn out for these "townhall meetings" (Fatcat). If you don't vocalize, these politician will ram (no pun intended) these restrictive bills through. Up here in the great white north we now have to register our guns. Having a Firearms Acquisition Certificate, which by the way has already been vetted by the local police is not enough.

It seems every time some crackpot lets rip with a weapon somewhere (anywhere in the world for that matter) is an excuse for these politicians to tighten ownership. Pretty soon guns will be banned altogether.
