NHRA Pro Stock- Dodge Neon is a sucess!

I Just witnessed the first all Mopar final round in NHRA Pro Stock today on TV. It was real nice to see the field come down to that, 2 cars that are brand new and winning in just their second race! I really think the combination of Darrell Alderman, Mark Osborne and these Neons will make for an interesting remainder of the season, as the class was getting staginant. I also heard someone say on TV the other GM drivers are crying foul now because they think the Neon has an aero advantage and are asking for a NASCAR style rule change. I can't wait for the Nitrous allegations to resurface!

I went to SIR on Friday to see them. For a Neon race car body they were Awesome . I enjoy all types of racing and so does the wife . I need to get a digital camera so I can take photos of the track Hoochie Mamas as the wife calls them and points them out to me.

Not only a win second time out but a new national speed record to boot. 202. 64 mph. What a future for the Neon.

I'd still like the "old days" when a manufacturer had to offer a certain # of vehicles for sale to be allowed to run them in the "stock" classes.



Yes, Mr. Salesman, I'd like to purchase a Hemi Neon

Whats with the PowerChoke in a Winston Cup Truck? It runs on the circuit. Need to get a Cummins out there.
