Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Just got back from the 2nd annual NHRDA drag races at Ennis Texas. Had a great time, wish there were more entrants into the racing... but for a 2nd annual, hopefully it will be bigger next year.
Saw some GREAT racing, and one or two unbelieveable sleepers... ESPECIALLY a completely stock appearing Chevy 3/4 ton that was ripping off consistent 11's !!!..... This guy had "sleeper" down to an art form. Stock appearing truck with stock wheels, single exhaust in the stock location, I mean STOCK... . Gotta remember that guy, he was a local... I dont want to get embarrased on I-20 by trying to pass him!!!. .
It was cool to see old beat up 1st gens blasting down the track, and laying down some respectable times for club cab 4x4s.
Got to see an immaculate 1st gen that won the show and shine competition. and a 2nd gen DUALLY that won the burn out contest... .
The Dr. Diesel guys were there, but had mechanical issues... . Some kid with a new Ford dumped about 100K into the truck and had it lifted like it was a monster truck competition. . I mean rockwell axles... the works... then attmpted to enter the burnout contest... Poor thing could only half way spin one wheel for about 10 seconds before he broke something EXPENSIVE!!. .
There was a 2nd gen with flames across the front of it that was WICKED!. This truck was a beast. .
All in all it was a great time... was going to buy a FASS system from the vendor, but my wife is trying to talk me into finding an older truck to modify instead of the 06... . I couldnt believe it, it was ALL her idea!!!!. . Better move quick on that one, before she changes her mind.
