There's a local guy here in Vancouver making some nice bumpers for the 3rd Gens... what do you think?

They're megga heavy duty 1/4" plate & the front weighs in at 160lbs & is set up for a 15,000lb warn winch.

You like or no?

I would like to Know more about the rear bumper. Have had some recent experience where a desert rock created two bumps... ... ... . when I barely hit it. I realize that I have a lot of "rollin weight" but this back bumper is extremely weak.

Does the pictured back bumper allow keeping the factory box hitch?

Dick,

Email the builder at this email address-

starman1@shaw. ca

I saw a set today & I can tell you that you won't dent these!

I believe those pictures were taken at the local Dodge dealership... they have one on display in their showroom so I believe it will fit with the factory receiver.

The bumper looks good, but what about the mounting brackets on these new trucks. Not comparable with the old ones like on my old first generation.

I talked with Al Matewish (604-987-9735 PDTime, Star Metalworks, British Columbia) about the rear bumper. He has six in stock. The bumper's have struts attached that are pre-drilled for late model trucks, that bolt to the frame. This bumper has everything that I'm looking for..... 1/4" steel, weighs about 70#. I did not ask about the front bumper. Also I do not know about their fitting earlier trucks.
