Winter fuel and egts

The new big boss was here at work today and the boss of the building (my boss’ boss…) introduced me to him as a transplant from the company HQ... and “this guy loves anything with a diesel engine…diesel snowblowers, tractors, you name it. ” The big boss then saw the Mack E7-427 piston/wrist pin on my desk... and I told him all about it.

Other people had the products/projects they’re involved with mentioned during their introductions…not me. Maybe I should be looking at help-wanted ads. :-laf

LOL, if I had mack parts on my "desk" (maybe toolbox would be more accurate? :D ), I'd probably get fired...

Although I did work on another ISX powered CL700 today...

Is it indy time yet?

New job

Matt, you may want to consider trick motorcycle riding. That was pretty impressive at INDY. LOL Merry Christmas Thanks Steve B.

If the big boss correctly identified the make/model of the turbocharger innards I have on my desk, I'd work on his truck for free. :)

Steve - I got owned by that little bike. It did make for a pretty hilarious moment, though. :-laf Word on the street is that the bike now has a 100cc engine and a carbon fiber Yoshimura pipe. If 50cc's kicked my butt, I won't even glance in its general direction this coming year...

Matt

I only rode that little bike (which belongs to Ed Brewer "Fast Eddie") once or twice... he was the burnout exhibitionist... I just crashed the bike when trying to do a wheelie. :-laf

I hit 2nd gear and yanked hard on the bars - the bike went right out from under me and I stopped short on the asphalt with bloody knees and hurt pride. :D

Matt

Ya gotta luv them little bikes. All you do is lean back to get a wheelie. I can't wait till my kid gets old enough for one! ;) :-laf
