Snow!

February Storm! Looks like the first of our typical Spring dumps!

30"+ on the deck and still snowing! About 2. 5"-3" per hour accumulation.

Supposed to snow through Saturday! I'll get a picture or 2 whan I head out to clear the driveway. Wish I had Mules and a riding plow:-laf! Got a dang newfangled gasoline powered snow blowerOo. ! Thankfully, it has electric start! GregH

Is it close to freezing, sunny side of the house or do you have a major heat loss going on???

Mike it gets SUPER COLD AT NITE and then warms up so the snow melts on the roof. Also the roof is the Metal roof that you see on the Forest Sirv. buildings so it absorbs the sun heat and helps melt the snow. I have rechecked the roof snow loading specs. The non sun side of the house gets ALOT of build up and I pull it off. I was told by the folks that sold me the roof that its doing just what it was supposed to be doing. Unless I want to remove the snow my self. They said dont worry about it. Its fine. No heat loss or should say minimal loss they came out with an infrared heat detector and took a look and its not coming OUT of the house.

Mike I asked the BOSS aka the wife about the icicles she looked at me and said city boy (that hurt) she said look at the icicles and then were are the vents for the pellets stoves Duh Duh OK she got me on that one. I guess it melts the snow and so cold that it makes them. Seems kind of weird but didnt want to look Duh Duh twice in one day

O I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER let's keep that quiet there will be an all out attack on the GLOBAL WARMING ISSUE AGAIN for or against it doesn't matter :-laf



That is really weird no snow in MI in Feb??
