i noticed someone said that Bosch recommends not using zinc plated fittings on your fuel system. Are the nickel plated ones ok? I oredered some before I saw the post. Now I wanna make sure they will work with damaging any other components.

I've never read anything to indicate that nickel is not compatible with diesel. I think it'll be fine.

wear did you see that zink was bad for the fuel systems---99% of all after market systems have a zink fiting or 2  at least i think that other than brass they are zink the other gold fitting, ?

zinc is used for galvanizing to reduce corrosion. Supposedly it is harmful to diesel fuel cause it breaks down and releases into the fuel. That's why you would never see an old galvanized fuel can for diesel, but did for gas.
