My queshtion is: will I have to back off on my inj. pump timing when spraying nitrous? Mine is set at 16* right now.

I know with past 5. 0 gasser experience that you back off the engine timing in accordance with how much spray you are using, just wondering if diesels are the same.

I have got it all rigged up-just havent sprayed it yet, I am waiting for my head to be fire-ringed :D I have a hobbs switch set at 25 psi and one single NOS powershot nitrous seloniod, with an edelbrock dry-shot nozzle, I will be using from . 040 to . 060(maybe bigger) jets.

with that small of a jet , you will not have to back off the timing. But definitely hold out for the headstuds and rings

So, those are small? (It's been a while since I have sprayed anything) How big of a jet would require nessessary backing off?

Maybe no jets and just a nozzle straight from the 3AN line? :-laf :D

Has anyone formed a chart to what size jets add what?

HP on hitrous is dependant upon too many factors than jet size. Available fuel and air make huge du=ifferences in HP on a specific jet size. On a 12v motor timing @16* on nitrous is nothing... ... Normally a turned up truck (lots of fuel here) will be set at 24*-25* on nitrous, the same truck without I would set up at 28*-29*.

As for small shots..... On a 24v motor a couple . 125 solenoids spraying say a . 125 and an . 090 will give you around 800 RWHP with lots of fuel.

I never got to tell you that I made a few runs with the big injectors it's..... ugly! I'd almost hate to see what a second stage would do!

Did you get that package?... ... BOTW I run 20 degrees and it could use a little more!
