Nitrous - water/meth who uses

Having recently decided to put to use the NOS system that was removed from a gasser sold many years ago and gathering dust in my garage , I thought I would tap the expertise available here. I have currenlty installed the smallest (size 30 nozzle) . According to the NOS instructions you should be able to use that combination with no fueling enhancement. I have and Edge EZ box and EDM 1. 0 injectors. When the nitrous kicks in the boost goes from 25 to 30 lbs but there is very little noticeable increase in power. Sounds to me like more fuel is needed?? The plan is to go with the snow water/meth system since I do not want to reinvest in bigger injectors. Anybody have experience with this combination and can give me some insight on nozzle and jet sizes??

Stock turbo? Did you install the boost elbow from Edge? I would have thought your boost numbers would be higher than that. Also, do you have a pusher pump?

You need more fuel. NO2 only works by giving an oxygen rich enviroment for the fuel to burn..... Do you have black smoke when you are wide opn throttle and the boost is up? If so then NO2 will produce power, if not then you aren't seeing much gain. Add a fueling box and some large injectors, match that with some big solenoids and jets, then watch out!

Turbo is stock, and yes I do have the boost elbow installed. Stock I was getting about 20 lbs of boost and with the elbow and the EZ it went up to 25(6000 ft elev here). I thought those numbers were a little bit low, could be a boost leak somewhere in the system. Very little smoke with the injectors that I have. Not looking for a huge increase in power, maybe around 50 hp. The water/meth injection with two 625 ml. injectors Im thinking might be worth trying to get me the extra fuel that it looks like I need?

Th e water/meth works the best if you have more air than fuel. The more fuel you have the less hp increase you get from it. Just the oppisite of nos.
