I've had good luck with mine, I'm on my 3rd set and have gotten around 45K per. Next set I think I;ll go to the 305's due to the E rating and see how they are. Good luck.

I am on my second set of BFG AT's and I really like them. Got 60K+ on the first set, 4 tires, rotating every 6K. I have 52. 8K on my second set, this time rotation 6 tires (don't ask) and I will get another 40K out of them. Run 50 lb front/40 lb rear when empty; 50/50 with a load. I don't tow but do a lot of 'fire road' and trail running with a 1000lbs of camping/prospecting/spares in the bed. When air'd down (15 lbs front/rear) the BFG AT's provide very good off road traction. I know the BFG's have been blamed for contributing to 'death wabble' but I think that would have to be on a heavly loaded truck.

I'm so old I can remember when, in high school, if you got 10K miles on a set of tires you were doing well! I even remember getting flat tires... anyone had one of those lately? Today, we can get 60K on a set of 4 on a very heavy truck! Life is good!

Can't speak to the Nitto's but I ran BFG All Terrain T/A's for a long time. Used them on 3 different trucks and I never had an issue with them. The last set I had went 56K (rotated every 6K) before I had to replace them and they still had a little life left in them. I'm running the Goodyear Silent Armors now. I'd heard a lot of good things about them so I thought I'd try a set out. No complaints with them so far, but I did not have the opportunity this past winter to get into some snow with them to see how they would really perform.

MY stock BFG's All Terrains have 27500 miles on them now and look new. Really haven't been off-road with it other than pastures and deer lease roads. Tires seem to be wearing even.

The local tire guy told me that the BFG is a really well made tire and they are actually owned by Michelin. . Not sure about the truth to that... just what I was told. I will probably put BFG's back on it when these wear out.

The BFG's are a very well made tire. I have my own "war story" that can attest to that. A few years back, I had to call BFG Customer Service with a question. What they told me at the time was that BFGoodrich got out of the tire business altogether. They only do financial stuff now. The BFG tires are now manufactured by Michelin under a licensing agreement with BFGoodrich for the BFG name and the tire designs.
