Hey all I'm going to by new tires in the next few weeks. I am having a hard time deciding on the nitto's or on the Big O XT's. I have herd good things about both I don't know if any body is running the big o's but i know some of you are running the nitto's, so any info would be great. Like wear, snow, and other things. I will be going with 315's in what ever tire i end up with.

I am running the 295's on factory aluminum rims. This is the best AT type tire that I have ever had. They are quiet on the road and are outstanding in the snow. Worked without a single slip when I ended up on an ATV trail by mistake that was nothing but soccer ball and larger sized bolders. What mud I got into was like driving on a dry logging road.

I am very pleased with mine.

I've got the 315's but only for about 1000 miles. I can't give you much info on the wear, but they ride good. The downside is the width. I have to run only 30lb of air in the back in order to get a flat tread contact patch. I can run 40 in the front due to the weight of the engine. If running your tires slightly slack doesn't bother you, then go for it. Oh, and they also rub the lower control arm when turning sharp.

I have 315 BFG's. I wanted the Nitto's but could not get them at that time so i went ahead with the BFG's. I could have gotten Toyo's but they were $200 more for the set. (I got a great deal,$168 each installed) They will rub the lower link arm. I might go back to 295's next time. I feel a lot more rolling resistance with these tires. Fuel mileage dropped about 1. 5 mpg but they do look good. I run 48psi in front and 44psi rear.
