I have a 2004 Lance 1030 camper. I went to winterize it the other day and have no 12V power. My batteries were completely dead so I yanked them and charged them up, they work fine now. I started T-shooting to see why they weren't being charged and have kind of gotten stuck.
I checked the voltage (while plugged into my house power), I have AC in the outlets and at my fuse panel. I have no DC power. I checked right at the converter. When I pull the positive lead off my converter I have ~13VDC. So something is pulling the 12V down. I pulled all my fuses in order and it still was nill.
I need to check a couple more things, like the generator ready compartment, perhaps the lead is grounding itself in there.
Does anyone else have any ideas?
I haven't put the 12V batteries back in the camper because I figured they'd just drain if installed. I will put them in tonight to see if I get any 12V function anywhere. I really just want to winterize the lines so I can prevent leaks over the winter.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated, past experiences are always good too. I'm trying to locate anymore fuses that perhaps I can't see, but with no schematics I'm kind of stuck in the cold here.
