Well just got the truck back from the dealer for it's first oil change (6300 miles and no computer feed back). I also had them look at why I had no back up lights. Service tech asked if I checked the bulbs?... sometimes... #@$%! well after three hours of looking they "think it's an ECU and will have to order parts for it. What ever happened to a simple switch when placed in reverse? Any one else have this type of problem? Dang I miss my old 12 valver... until I tow :-laf

Well I got my truck out of the shop where they had it for another six hours to fix the back up lights. They replaced the TIPM and still had no lights. Traced the wires and found the wires had shorted out against the frame rail above the fuel tank. Had to drop the tank to fix... so here comes fuel delivery problems later. If you ever loose your back up light and can't find the problem these wires are suspect given the way they are ran thru the frame.
