Please help!

I started my truck this morning and a, "no bus", message appeared in the odometer. All the dashlights and headlights are on full bright with no control. The wipers don't work either nor does the radio.

What happened? Is there fuse to check?

Help!

You don't state what year your truck is, but on my '01 the engine quit and I had the no buss on the odometer - - turned out to be a engine fuse in the fues block on the left side of the dash - - Can't remember the number, but with the key on check each fuse with a test light until you find one blown. 'THIS ID FOR A SECOND GEN TRUCK" don't know if it is the same on a 3rd gen.

I'm not sure on a 3rd gen - - maybe someone else will chime in here. Check the power center under the hood, my '06 has a engine fuse there. That may be blown

I went to start the truck to take it to the dealer and everything was back to normal. Yesterday I started the truck and had the 'no bus' problem again. So I shut off the truck and restarted it and once again everything is fine. This seems to happen when it warms up into the 40's.

The dealer told me there are about 7 computer modules under the dash that control various things. I believe they all talk to each other using a CAN Bus.

Any clue where to find all these computer modules so I can check for a loose connection?
