Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) No clearence to pull back pushrods

How can I get those back 4 pushrods out? I got the rocker arms off with no problem, but the dang firewall won't let me get the pushrods out.



All I have is that problem and then working on getting the injectors out and the head is ready to come off. Headbolts are now off. Will work on the injectors til someone can help me with the pushrod situation.

Feel along the bottom the the cowl, there should be little rubber plugs(grommets) that you can pull out to givey ou the clearance you need to get the pushrods out.

Got it! Thanks for the quick post. Those injectors sure are a pain. I will have to wait til the morning to get a nut for the injector to help pull out.
