I have a 2005 and the headlights got cloudy. I changed the whole headlight assembly which included the bubs. The assembly was a newer style. They headlights look good when they are on. They problem comes when I use the turn signs. They flash fast and show bulb out. I did check and there are no bulbs out. All works fine with the lights when they are off. I am at a loss as what is wrong.

Did the new headlights come with new park / turn signal sockets?? If so try using the old sockets in the new lights...I always try the free and easy stuff first.

Also make sure that the connectors are inserted and locked properly. Sometimes the rubber seals around the plugs get dry and won't slide into the connector without some persuasion. I use dielectric grease which really increases the slippery factor.....

Since you say they are a different style I will guess they are aftermarket and may have come with led's.That will cause a fast flash as well as bulbs that are not lighting

Make sure that the front turn signal wiring is correct. You may have hooked the TURN signal wiring from the TRUCK to the parking light wire on the new headlamp wiring. The parking light filament will have less resistance that the turn filament. That will cause fast blinking.

They are not LED. The were a direct fit. The only thing that was different was a rubber strap the connected to a spot on the grill. The lights also appear to cast a wider light. This is the ones I got.

Then I would definitely try the sockets from the old lights for the park / turn signals. Start there.
