Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) no codes truck died

maybe someone can help me. Last month I had the injector pump replaced. The truck ran fine up until last week. Then it just died. I had just fired up and started to go and then there was nothing. It acted just like when the pump went out. I took it to my machanic and he said there was no codes just the camshaft position sensor saying the motor was not turning when it really would spin over. So he replaced the sensor and no go. Then he swapted the computor and no go. So now he is got a new pump on the way. The truck is a 01 with airdog150 and edge juice/attitude. There are no codes so he is just guessing now. Maybe someone else has experienced this and can help. Thanks

Try unhooking the edge. Mine just messed up and the truck wouldn't turn off. I had to unplug the box (at box in engine compartment) to get it to turn off. No codes either.

I agree. Unhook the Edge. Seen lots of trucks towed in that have bad tuners and chips causing no starts.

well I got my truck back from the machnic and the vp44 was the culprit. the macanic said it was something broke in the pump. so good news for me it only cost the wrecker bill. but thanks for the help

Sounds to me

Like he didn't seat the pump onto the gear properly,and it broke loose. That is the reason for the cam sensor error.
