Archived No Dash Or Tail Lights-help

I Am Working On A 1997 Dodge 2500 T/d. I Have Head Lights, Brake Lights, Dome Lights But No Parking Light, No Dash Lights, No Fog Lights And No Tail Lights. Back Up Light Work Fine. I Replaced The Headlight Switch And The Fog / Dual Tank Relays Two). I Can Turn On The Parking Lights And Get Dash And Parking Lights For A Few Moments, Then Nothing. When Illuminated, They Seem Somewhat Dim Which Would Lead Me To Believe There Is A Bad Relay, Circuit Breaker, Or A Short. Is There A Circuit Breaker I'm Missing, Or Another Relay? I Can Remove The Trailer Relay But There Is No Change.



Any Help Would Be Appreciated.

John,

You might have a short or partial ground in the trailer harness if you have spliced into it. I had that problem on my '99, but I also was blowing fuses. Do you have a service manual with the wiring diagrams?
