Dealer called and said my new ride has arrived at the dealer, and Now my dealer says that my Farm Bureau rebate will not apply, because I purchased the truck at Greenslip price. He told me not to worry though, that Chrysler had a new extra $500 rebate ( on top of the $2500, but it ends today. I personally dont care how i get the $500 bucks, Farm Bureu or rebate but I ordered the truck being told that I could get the $500 rebate from Farm Bureau. Any Ideas

I bought mine last spring and had no trouble getting the Farm Bureau rebate. I called the Farm Bureau and had them send me the slip, then I gave that to my salesperson at the dealer and he took care of it. I got a check in the mail a couple weeks later. I think the rebate applies no matter what price the dealer gave you, I'd keep pushing.

The Farm Bureau is actually a certificate program, not a rebate program. If you got the greenslip price, that is a certificate program, and if you read the fine print you will find that it can not be combined with any other certificates. I had a similar situation on my '03 - I had Farm Bureau membership, a $500 "Route 2003" certificate coupon, and a "friends" program option, none of which could be combined. I ended up using the FB since it was a better discount than the "friends" program, and the dealer had the paperwork on hand. Member Tomeygun can confirm this, since he sells them every day!

Good luck!

What does "greenslip price" mean?

Business owners....

I was able to get $300 rebate for being a Business owner. Salesman had me fax him a copy of my business license and a few weeks later a check for $300 arrived in the mail.

that is all correct, and the greenslip (greensheet) is what chrysler employees use, and NO the certificate programs are not able to be used with it, but the greeensheet MORE than makes up for that,

on the other hand, if the dealer said he would then he should stick with his word, I would and have if I screw up on a rebate

Is the college grad discount a certificate program also. Does anyone know if the holiday cash $500 incentive is good through Dec 31 or did it expire yesterday.

My 2 cents. Got my truck, that was build truck on friday 11-28-03. i was able to get farm breau, extra 500, 2500. 00 and free sirius installed, membership for life. these were all deals offered here in texas over the past 5 days. it would appear that sirius deal was only for some regions. might ask about it, would make you a little happer. but if tommy sez you have a good price. he should know.

Well not to stir any stink but I got the $300 business owner and another $500 plus $500 below invoice as well as $2500 rebate and a $1000 coupon from D. C. the only thing I gave proof of was the D. C. coupon. sales manager said we CAN HANDLE the REST sign here. I have no business license or Farm bureau etc. He brought them up and said will you do now and smiled. No proof of squat.

Back when I bought mine about 3 weeks earlier we got a coupon from D. C. because we had bought a 1998 1500 slt. It was a $1000 dollor off your best deal good for 30days. It was the jaw breaker for us. We did the best deal. Invoice minus $500 minus $300 owning your own business,$2500 rebate and then handed them the $1000 off for buying a D. C. product before. truck listed for $39k and change and we paid just a hair over $32 including tax I think.
