What is going on? I purchased the Mopar molded mudflaps with extension for 4X4s and have not yet installed them. I went to the dealer to look at the Mopar fender flares and maybe molded/painted running boards. CAN YOU BELIEVE NONE WILL WORK TOGETHER?!? #ad

That's just stupid. The flaps won't work with the flares nor with the running boards, yet they are all Mopar parts! Any suggestions?

I just saw a friends new Toyota that has nice running boards, flares and mudflaps that all work together... gee, what a concept!

By the way, my truck is at the dealership for a new steering box today after my complaint of a slight pull to the right (1900 miles). Wish me luck!!

Scooby,I have Warn flares & running boards on my 2500 and am very pleased with them. They fit perfectly and went on easily. One thing thats cool about the running boards is that they come off with just two pins, makes it great for serious offroading or just sliding under the truck for servicing or repairs.

For awesome mud flaps, do a search on "Northwest Custom" on TDR site. Jason will make just about anything.

Wish I had known about them before I bought Pro-flaps.

Hey Scooby, I have the Mopar fender flares, NW Custom (front and rear) mud flaps and the Warn (full length... 98. 5" long version) 4X Boards. Like illflem stated, just remove two pins and they are ready to remove. This combination looks and functions REALLY well. #ad

Before I finally settled on the aforementioned components, I had Mopar black anodized aluminum nerf bar/steps and anti-spray mud flaps (didn't work with the 285s)... and prior to that I had Smittybilt black powder coated nerf bar/steps (extremely poor mounting design back then) with the Mopar molded mud flaps (don't protect much with 285s). I'm glad that stuff is down the road!

I have put the Mopar running boards and Box extensions on my 2500HD 4 X 4 in black the part #'s are 82202469 ($560. 00). They come with molded front and rear end caps that keep most of the crud off the truck and out of the door jambs. I also wanted to add mudflaps and was told the molded ones wouldn't work. After some research my dealer found the Mopar mudflaps designed to work with these running boards - part # 82203705 (flat kind). The only thing I didn't like about them is they had a chrome ram on them that i removed (pretty easy).

Wow, thanks for the replies. Sounds like my first thing to do is return those pesky little molded mudflaps. I like the idea of removing the side steps. There is no way I want to lose any precious ground clearance on such a long wheel based vehicle. Off course removing them offers no protection while fourwheeling! #ad

Has anyone seen any kind of rocker pannel protection similar to the Suncoast (I think that was the name) that is made for Jeep CJ's? They fit right along the body...
