I'm hoping someone can help. I've been having trouble getting my FP gauge to work since installing it. I've been thinking I just had air on the gauge side of the isolator but, I've made sure that's not the problem.

I decided to unhook the hose attached to the SS filter top to see if I had flow there... there's wasn't. I left the hose unhook for a few minutes and hit the pedal a couple times and with the wife watching it... nothing came out.

I haven't gone as far as removing the cap or checking the fitting attached but, their both brand new. I installed a new filter when I put the cap on and the fact my truck is so new... . they wasn't anything but, clean fresh filter housing in there.

Anyone have this problem and maybe an idea for a fix ?

Triton, I don't know if this is the problem but the machined recess inside the Geno's billet fuel filter cap is so tight on mine that with those new 7 micron filters I believe it actually forms a seal to prevent the fuel from getting to the fuel pressure sensor which is plumbed in to the top of the billet cap.

Those new filters have a harder material boned to the media than the older ones. My solution was to carefully notch the edge of the portion that recedes into the cap. I used a small pair of dykes and notched it about 4 places around the edge. Mine seems to work fine.

I haven't been following the TDR as regular but I think that sometime back someone posted the machined underside of the billte cap on some of the early ones was so small the filter prevented the cap from screwing down. Hopefully, someone else will chime in here.

Thanks WC. I was hoping to not have to get back into the filter but, I guess I'll have too#@$%! Your explanation sounds very logical. I don't know any other reason I would get any flow out of the 1/8" port.

I had to the same thing WCPoe did but finally put a sanding wheel on my dremel and cleaned out the inside of the cap. Works great now.
