Archived No front drive shaft-driveable??

Sorry guys but I'm not sure of this, I took off my front drive shaft and took it to a shop to fix a spider in the U joint, is my truck still drivable with it off? Maybe dumb question but something urgent came up and now I'm in a bind, wasn't planning on driving it. Thanks guys.

No problem at all to run w/o a front driveshaft. You can even run the transfer case in 4 wheel drive... of course you won't have 4 wheel drive! :-laf

Even better, you can now use 4Lo without the cramping and wiggling!

I've known more than one person who has lost one of his rear u-joints, tied up the driveshaft and driven with just front wheel drive till the problem is fixed. It goes both ways.
