Archived No fuel prime?

After replacing my delivery valves I cant get the system to prime! I pumped for two hours last night!

I rechecked every connection three times and everything is in order.

This is a simple procedure. But did I miss something?



Could the overflow valve that returns fuel to the tank be weak? The primer is working. I cracked the vent at the top of the fuel filter and fuel comes out. But when I crack the lines at the pump-nadda? HELP!!

Did you try getting ahold of Mark Chapple or Jim Jessup if they are available, or post on the 12 Valve discussion forum.



Maybe call "stroke this" I remember him commenting on working on 12 Valve engines.

Running

The truck is back up and running.



Now I have to take the truck in to get the pump calibrated! Lesson learned, DONT MESS WITH THINGS THAT YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THEY DO!!! Well, I now know what high timing sounds like!



Any one know what it cost to put the pump on a pump stand?
