Someone to Haul vehicle from Wilmington NC to Atlanta

TMTT, Hows the sump pump?

Neighbor's house was foreclosed on and they moved out May 26. Had not mowed grass for two weeks before that. Wind splits Bradford pear tree in half across driveway.

For two weeks wife calls real estate agent that has the listing to get the place cleaned up because neighborhood has one bad looking house and 3 acre lot.

Finally, out of goodness of my heart, I take tractor and chain and remove 1/2 tree.

Owner shows up Sunday morning with weed eater and lawn mower to mow grass. We leave for church. Come home and there is a threatening letter in our mailbox from neighbor. They have called a lawyer because we stole from them. They would also like me to send them $50 for the stolen wood. They preach to us about how bad it is for Church people to steal.

My wife is livid!

I hook the tree back up and drag it back across their driveway. Wife writes them a 'too nice' message about how we were just trying to be good neighbors and help out 'needy' people.

I had other thoughts but my wife keeps me in check. My son and daughter also had other thoughts. I think they take after their dad!

I forgot to mention that I also had previously offered to mow their yard free of charge. I did mow the green space between the street and their fence for the benefit of the neighbors.

Was there postage on the letter and did it have a post mark?? I think it's a federal felony to put stuff in mailboxes without postage, I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time, look at it this way, who wants neighbor's like that anyway!!! :D

the only neighbors around here i don't hate are the new ones i haven't met yet at the end of the street, leave me alone and ill leave you alone has worked the best so far, theres one nosy old #$%^& that has been a almost constant pain for the 18 years we have owned here, not sure what id do with a friend or two on the street

Don't worry about it. No lawyers work on Sundays, let alone answer phones. Their work weeks usually begin around 10:30 a. m. on Mondays, and promptly end no later than 11:30 a. m. on Fridays.

Do the flaming bag of poop...

Neighbors had a meeting with new realtor yesterday afternoon. Minutes before, they had hooked the big tree limb to the back of their Blazer with a garden hose. Third time was charm as the garden hose snapped in two the first two pulls.

What a bunch of ignoramuses!

Garden hose! LMAO!

I would have "had" to wind up my strap at that time... . Take it out in the driveway... . Throw it out as far as it goes... . and wind it up nice and slowly. :-laf

nah, just take some laps around the yard with the tractor, dragging the tow strap of course. :-laf

I have the sure fire cure for stuff like that... . my ONLY neighbors are my mother and mother-in-law... . and my wife keeps them both in line. :-laf

Well, if they aren't mowing the grass, there are ordinaces for that. You could call your local zoning enforcement officer and complain about the blight next door, with the unmowed grass and tree limbs everywhere. A couple of comments about seeing rats will help that out. Tit for tat I say... .
