2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission No Headlights!!

My headlights do not come on.

Not a fuse, not the bulb. the problem is in the high-beam/ turn signal switch. When I pull the lever, both the high and low beams come on. When I release it the lights go out.



Any suggestions??

Replace the multi-function switch (P/N 5269377). The fact that all filaments light when you pull back the multifunction switch handle shows that all other parts of the circuit are working.

I had the same thing happen last night, went to dim my brights for an oncoming car then no lights!

One more click and my brights were back on blinding him just a few feet in front of me.

Must have scared the crap out of the oncoming guy, I know it did me.



Clicking back and forth later on a deserted road I couldn't get the lights to go out again. The one time was bad enough, hate intermittent electrical problems, the worst to track down.
