2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission No instrument Lights in Dash

Hi,

A year ago I installed the Head light Harness to fix a problem but the receptacle

that the switch plugged had signs of heat but worked so I left it.

My head lights went out driving home the other night so i Replaced the High Low switch in column,Switch in the dash and the Switch

receptacle.

Lights fine but no Dash light but fuse in the fuse box OK

Need help on what leads to chase.

Did you turn the round nob to head light switch to make sure it not on the minimum lighting position?



Check to make sure fuse has power going to it if it doesn't check fuses in PDC.

You mite have lost ground to dash lights.

Thanks for your Help but this morning going to work I pulled out the switch slowly and the dash lights worked until the Switch got to the position to turn on the Lights on then go out.
Looks like I done something to the Switch during installation.

If they did not work right after you installed it the switch was probably bad to begin with.
