When I bought my truck 5 years ago it already had some mods and would not pass MA inspection (specifically snap acceleration). This year I finally had to go for a legit sticker. Had my trusty Diesel mechanic take care of it. He had to make some adjustments to get it to pass. Now the truck feels like a Volkswagen dragging led. I can feel resistance in the pedal at about 1/3 throttle, you can push it further but nothing happens. The Boost is only getting to 10psi or so under the gun in 5th gear (NV4500) up hill on the highway with very little black smoke while it was flirting with 30psi and gave a good blast of black till the turbo cought up.

I took the AFC cove off to take a peak at what I had. AFC cover was forward and the fuel plate apeared all the way forwar and had a #10 stamped on it (assume its an ATS #10).

Mechanic is gone for two weeks. What do we think was changed? I want it back where it was.

You might check the star wheel. It may have the spring so tight the throttle stop can't more. There are other adjustments, but I have never messed with them.
