i would contact your dtt installer and talk to him. dtt stands behind there stuff. if you only have 15k on a newly built dtt transmission they SHOULD cover you.

Got the trans and TC out. Turns out the turbine splines in the TC are gone, like completely non existent. This kindof concerns me being as how the TC has only been in the truck for less than 15k miles yet its supposed to be lifetime warrantied?

Just speculating, but that sounds like a possible QC problem where they missed a heat treat. Do they look like they were so soft that they just smeared over, or was it more of a brittle fracture where the splines fractured and sheared off, leaving well defined fracture surfaces?

The TC builder messed up, period.



That is easy to fix, a new TC. The bigger concern is all the ground up metal had a free shot thru the transmission.
