My friend has a 99 3500 AT with 50,000 miles on it. When he goes up hills it dosen't have the power it used to. Before 80 now 50mph up the same hill. On level road it seems to be the same. Had it to the dealer and they said two valves were out of adjustment and fixed that. They also tested the fuel pressure and it was good, but couldn't find anything else wrong. Anybody have an idea????

I would put in a new fuel filter and find someone other than the dealer to ck the fuel pressure. You can take a R-12 A/C charging line, 4 footer, and hook the one end up to the inj pump. Take the other end and adapt a mechanical pressure guage that reads no more than 50psi or less at full scale. You then carefully route the line and guage through the windshield side of the hood, tape the guage to the windshield so it can be read and drive the truck.
