alright my truck is nuts, today it just got better and better---still a bit much on the turbo lag mainly when at a dead stop or when at cruise then punching it, :-laf so what could it have been and what would cause turbo lag like that
i finally got my truck back from the certified dealership, they reflashed the ecm and well i have the same problem as before. its like it has no low boost fueling it goes dead when you ask for fuel at 75-100% throttle, and wont pull up a hill at all, when going from cruise to wot it will not go any faster up a mild hill. called the dealership and they were ready to refund my money. i said i just want my truck to run like it should!. after an hour of talking and explaining i was a diesel tech and knew the problem was in the fuel system he agreed to look at it ----but not till next week. he said he will put a fuel gauge on there, im going to try to get him to put a boost gauge and the DRBIII scanner on there as well---that should find the problem. any other help or tips would be appriciated. thanks
allright heres the update ----got the ecm reflashed, little or no difference. i brought the truck in while it was knocking badly and told them to put the scanner on it #3 and #6 cylinders are bad, the idol pressure was 5400, which is fine but the wot peak pressure was 20,000. which is bad. they have to replace the injectors first and then follow the rail pressure problem. i'll let you know more as i find out.
