Hi ... I know what I want to do, it is just how to do it that puzzles me a bit... . so it seems logical to ask people that have already been there.
I have been taking the incremental approach and am ready to do injectorsOo. But how big do I really want to go? I do want more useful towing hp, but I am not (yet) ready to go on a quest for really serious hp... . Unless someone has a really logical reason why not, I want to go with F1, either Mach 1. 6's(90hp) or II's(105hp). This is my daily driver, I tow an 8000# TT, and I realize I will prob'ly have to upgrade my trans (new 10k ago) and, eventually, I may go to a slightly larger turbo.
So, the question becomes... is there really enough of a diff in the performance of the II's and III's to recommend using one or the other? I sure would like to hear from some folks that have tried one, the other, or both. I mean, yeah, why not go with the extra hp? Unless there are drawbacks... . Thanks for sharing your experience and opinion. Paul
