But sadly I have not seen these $9000 rebates - esp. 2005 models

It was just this saturday that the ad ran, so it may hit sometime this week. Heck, I got $14,000 off sticker on mine, loaded SLT 4x4 QC, just a few items shy of the Laramie. And I just walked in off the street, took delivery within 3 hours of my test drive. Mine stickered at 42 and change, got it for 28 and change out the door. One of those 03 left overs, bought it in august of 03. Couldn't pass it up, and I was there to order my wife a jeep, man was she PO'D when I came home with the Dodge! And yes, she did get her jeep.

I could see that I guess, I know dodge get crazy with discount on older model year trucks... . If you can find on 04, the deals are fabulous!

Well... someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but it used to be that you got all the rebates that are in effect at the time of your order. If the rebates got better, before you take delivery, you get the increased rebate. If the rebates go down or go away, you still get the rebate that was in effect when your ordered... .

Rick, you are correct, with the exception that you cannot take a rebate that begins and expires between the time you ordered and took delivery. When I took delivery of mine, the dealer even commented that there is a line item on the order sheet for price protection. It also protects you against price increases.

But you must pick your truck up within 5 days of it being delivered to the dealer.
