Delphi 680 steering box

The 98.13

2002 Ram 2500 6 speed won't go into gear. Try shifting after doing some snow removal. I had to shut motor down to get it into gear to move it into garage.
Any ideas?

How many miles on the truck? How many miles on the clutch? What clutch is in the truck? How many miles on the clutch hydraulics?

Possible causes:

* faulty hydraulics
* seized pilot bearing
* faulty pressure plate

More information regarding the symptoms would also help.

Truck has 147,000 miles, clutch and hydraulics the same. Not sure what clutch.It is the original from factory.

if the engine is turned off can you move the lever around and shift a few gears?

if you can, I'd be willing to be the clutch is not releasing..
if you can't shift it with engine turned off , problem probably is in the transmission

Pedal feels normal.

Uh thats not good, because that indicates that the mechanism most likely works like it should but the clutch doesn't disengage anymore.

You probably have to drop the transmission then.

There is a good chance that your clutch disc failed and is jammed now.
