I have an 89 W-250 and I just installed the 3200 spring and took the collar off the fuel screw so I could adjust it after I put the pump back together. Everything is back to where it was. At least i'm 90 percent sure it is:confused:And the truck wont start. Prime fuel more? Solenoid bad? throttle linkage put back slightly off? I have no idea. Can anyone help. :{

I'm a little knew to what parts are on the pump so could you simplify for me too thanks:-laf

CHecked solenoid by pulling wire and reconnecting (heard a strong click on). Don't have a fuel pressure gauge (Probably should look into one) so I took the truck to a family known mechanic and came up my pressure was way too low. But I turned in the full fuel screw and kept trying, my thought process was that the more I turned it in the more pressure right? Or maybe when I went to put the pump cover back on the lever that the full fuel screw goes behind actually went under it so it wouldn't be able to regulate pressure, sound right or no?

Judgeing by that small phrase would say (Trying not to be incipid here) go back and just re trace your install. Take your time and look it over. Have you bled injector lines? have you made sure you have not inavertantly knocked loose any lines that may be sucking in air now because of an elbow slip?

(I am so not VE inclined)

Not knowing much about the VE pump I would think that turning the screw will increase fuel to the pump(bath/tank what ever you call it. ) You need to find out why the fuel system is low on pressure.
