1999 Cummins ATS Aftermarket transmission TC locked up

07 ram with the 5.9 in limp mode .

Went to start the 04 and nothing. The dash lights all seem normal. The skim light knows the key. There is no noise at all. No buzz, no click. Truck finally started. Then I had to test it so I shut it off. Now it will not start. I will get the starter tested this morning. If that's good what's next?

Yep. Load test next. The starter tested okay at the auto parts store. Don't want to throw parts at it. If the batteries check out. I'm going to try to jump it off the yellow. I think that will bypass the clutch lock out, ignition switch and relay. That will be tomorrow. Thanks for the input and ideas.

New batteries. One was bad. Still no start. No voltage at jumper on start (yellow/brown stripe). Jumpered the clutch lock out, no start. I'm about to get igniton start switch for it. Finally started on jumper to starter.

I also swapped relays to no effect. I'm just about to put in a switch and push button like my car. It starts right up on the jumper. Just remember to turn the key to on. I'm going to see if I can test the starter switch. Looks like the security module is a separate piece so I don't have to program it if it gets replaced.

It was the clutch position switch. I thought I had bypassed that in all my tests. There was a point where I didn't have the trigger plugged into the starter properly. I bypassed the switch again and she fired right up. The switch looks like water got to it through the firewall. I think I can rebuild it. Otherwise they are $120. The Dodge manual claims it isn't replaceable. Don't know what that's about.
